Table: "Gure! I think our baby just moved!"
Gure: "^_^"
Hehe... this little scene came into my mind during studying for the exams. I made a quick sketch, but didn't have time to color it, until now.
So here it is: Tarble and his pregnant wife, Gure, enjoying there time together. I decided to make them wear plain, terran clothers - just because.
I hope you guys like this picture: it was a lot of fun to work on it. As you can see, I tried to experiment with the background a little. I think it turned out quite decent.

Suzi, please don't take this the wrong way, because the picture is very well done, but why does Gure have no real facial features or hair? Just going by first impressions, she looks like an incomplete rag doll. In fact, that's what I originally though she wasβa doll. It's a nice piece, but a little confusing. What is Gure?

In fact I can understand you: when I first saw Gure, I had a similar impression. But as the time passed and I got to see her in the DBZ Special, I got to like her. She's a really adorable character.
As for other thing regarding Gure, well... In the Dragonball Z special, that was released not so long ago, nothing is much said about Gure, aside from the fact that Table met her on some uknown planet during his exile, and that eventually became his wife.
So far there wasn't any official info about Gure's specie or the planet she came from, so fans are left speculating.

Heh... lucky you. In Poland we hardly get any Anime out on DVD. And even if people decide to release some anime on DVD, they only do so with the titles that are not that much known or that are hentai...
Some time ago, there was a petition in which people asked to release Dragonball on DVD, but sadly nothing was done about it.
So, the only thing to do is buy the original from Amazon, or watch stuff on YouTube. -_-
