Description Hand Made Origami Earrings.
The Origami Ball is called "the Electra", invented by origami designer David Mitchell. (It is reproduced with his permission of the copyrighted design)
Each ball is made of 30 folded pieces of 3/4 inch origami paper.
The assembled piece is then covered with layers of tough polyurethane varnish (glossy) and then the edges are tipped with gold leaf paint before its final coating of varnish.
The ball is then accented with hematite and ceramic beads and hung with Stirling silver.

Surprisingly light for its size, this is probably one of the most unique origami earrings you'll see.

In total, it takes about 3-4 hours to make each earring.

If I pay myself close to minimum wage... I should probably charge between 40-50... 42 is a very happy number I think. But, I've never sold/made Jewlery before so I am not sure....

I love Etsy, better than Ebay. And these are superb. How much are you going to sell them for?

This is incredible. I can't imagine how much patience and care it would have taken to fold and craft those itty bitty pieces. Great work!
