Update: Yey! Antillean is now totally done! I think at least. I hate how I can't get the edges perfectly clean no matter how much I try to fix it. Perhaps it'll come in time with more line less practice. I still plan on putting a background to it. But I want to use this version on my page.

Just wanted to share what I've been working on the past few days. It always amazes me how long and tedious this kind of work takes. I honestly dont think I have a lot of patience for it, but I have a lot of determination and that's what carries me though I think. I should listen to music or something while I shade, I never do surprisingly. I just dont have a good music library.

On to the hardest parts of a project for me: the mane & tail and the bg. Hair is not my strong point, no matter how many tutorials I look at. As for the bg; I have big plans for it but we will see if it actually comes out ok. I want to do a night scene but no black just reeeally dark purples and maybe have the lights be teal. Maybe a few fireflies and possible a reflective pony that she's prancing beside. Kinda like the whole "you knew my Father? I doooo! He lives...in heeerrraaaa" scene in Lion King. Anyway, dont know if that made sense buy anyway.

As for the reference, I found it one time on google, you would think I could find it again!! Grr but I can't. All's I can say it I referenced a google image for the pose. How do you guys keep track of the link to your references?
