Just a quick painting to let you all know I'm still actually alive and drawing! It's the Huntsman from Snow White and the Huntsman, which I saw the other day and really enjoyed. This guy is my favourite character, so I painted him. I've been in a bit of a drawing slump lately and this is the first thing I've done in a while that I actually like, so I wanted to share it.I copied from a promotional poster, just in case you couldn't tell. Textures and brushes are all my own. Enjoy!

I didn't see the movie (so far) so it's not an inner fangirl talking when I tell you that it looks amazing. The shading is great as usual but what makes this stand out is the use of textures. It looks so natural and fitting. Great job!

I, too, thought it was a drawing or painting instead of digital art. A beautiful painting.
The left part of the ax he's holding looks slightly bent to the wrong side. Maybe it could also benefit from a darker shading.
Regardless, this piece looks amazing. The tree looks very realistic and (it's kinda weird to say) his nose is done especially well.

The axe handle is slightly bent, maybe that's why it looks odd... it's like that in the reference as well though, I think. Could be the wood texture I put on it that's making it look weird as well, though...
