... if he dies.Another practice painting, learning about tone and colour. The lighting in this scene always makes for a challenge, and it's one of my favourite scenes ever anyway.
I didn't follow the reference exactly; I brought Han and Leia closer together and left the Ugnaught out of the background. So it's not a perfect rendition of the scene, but I actually like it better this way.

I totally thoght this was a photo from the movie and since I am fairly new here, I was told this was not the norm, so I was very impressed to find out (what a dope!) that this is a work of art?? I cannot even believe where to start on complementing this...even the light in Han's eyes is like just one millisecond that I recall somehow, in this eternal scene burned in all our minds, as the lights and gas danced around their helpless moment. "cuse my ignorance but when u get time, what is a "Wacom Bamboo Tablet"?

Haha, thank you! Yeah, it's definitely a painting. I'm glad you like it, and that it looks realistic - thank you! 
Wacom Bamboo is the brand name of a graphics tablet. If you haven't heard of that, it's a device for digital drawing - you plug it into your computer, and use a stylus to draw on the tablet's surface, and your brush strokes and marks will appear on the screen. Google "graphics tablet" or "Wacom tablet" to see what they look like. People use them for digital painting, they're much easier to use for that than a mouse. I hope that explains it!

Nit pick on the comments but its Boba Fett that gets compensated if he dies. I guess cos the bounty for a living solo is more than a dead one.
Though strictly speaking either Boba is getting greedy or the Empire is being cheap-ass. He hunted them for the Empire, and he's collecting from Jabba too?

I know, but the camera pans out just as Vader delivers that line to show Han and Leia, and I always found it chilling. I think that's what people meant in the comments, too - Vader says it to Fett, and it sort of highlights how the person who SHOULD be compensated is Leia, but there's no way anyone could compensate her for this. It sort of shows the contrast - Fett just wants the money and he'll get it, while Leia wants the person and she can't have him. It's always been a really chilling, evil moment for me.
I wouldn't put it past Boba to be greedy. He's a bounty hunter, that's what he does!

You captured the mood so well, it's really awesome. I always found the reddish light in that scene creepy and yet the athmosphere was so heartbreaking. You're picture gives the same vibes, so big thumbs up for that.
