Description This started out as a picture of Eowyn, from Lord of the Rings. Her face didn't come out right, though, and I'm told it now looks like me than like her. So I guess she's an original character from a story I have yet to write, now! This one took me a while, there's quite a lot of detail in it. Hope you like it!

You know, it could still be Eowyn. You could just say that it's her as a teenager. At elast I think she looks like that.

This is so beautifully done. I really like her expression, almost like an internal decision has been made and you've captured it on the verge of being expressed in a strong battle cry. Very nice work.

I'm no good with words like FF there , but I love the detailing! The shading looks really good and makes it look so alive. I also love the expression on her face, she so looks determined.

Wow.... **stares in awe** Details, indeed! The brocades and patterns in her armor/vest are so beautifully done, and the shading overall is just amazing--that vest really looks like leather! Her hair is wonderful (I envy those who can draw and shade curls...), and the expression is perfect "battle-face!" A wonderful piece--and I think you'd ROCK as a warrior!

Thanks a million! The vest was probably the most difficult part, with all the pattern and the little bits and pieces - argh! I'm glad you like the expression, I had trouble with her face, like I mentioned. So I'm glad it seems to have turned out okay! Thank you!
And hmm, me as a warrior... I don't think any sane person would put a sword in my hand.
