Description Tomorrow the last episodes of season three of "the walking dead" will air, so it's the perfect time to show you the final version of my Daryl Dixon picture. I love this character and I still hope he will make it into the comics. What do you think, will he survive?

Eine wirklich geniale Zeichnung!!!
Ich mag Norman Redus als Schauspieler sehr gern und "The Walking Dead" ist sowieso das beste was es gibt, als Fernsehserie und auch als Comic.

Ich kenne nur die Comics, die Fernsehserie, die Bücher und dieverse Spiele unter diesem Titel.

Die Comics habe ich leider nie gelesen, aber auf die neue Serie bin ich gespannt.

Ich meinte die Taschenbücher.
Die Fernsehserie ist sehr stark an die Comics angelehnt. An paar Abweichungen gibt es, aber die Geschichte ist im Grunde gleich. Am 11. November kommt ja endlich die 3. Staffel auf bluray / DVD raus

Und die vierte lässt auch nicht mehr lange auf sich warten Dass es Taschenbücher gibt, wusste ich nicht. Sind die halbwegs gut geschrieben? Meisten sind Bücher zu Serien ziemlich schlecht.

Die Taschnebücher sind geschrieben von Robert Kitkman (Erfinder von "The Walking Dead") und Jay Bonansinga.
Der erste Band zählt die Geschichte vom Governor aus Woodbury von Anfang an bis er eben in Woodbury ankommt. den zweiten Band hab ich noch nicht angefangen *hust*
Ich meine es ist von Vorteil wenn man die Comics zu aller erst liest, vor den Büchern und vor der Fernsehserie...

Das klingt zumindest schon einmal ganz gut Ich glaube aber, ich bleibe doch erst nur bei der Serie. Ich komme ohnehin kaum noch zum Lesen. Beim Fernsehen kann ich wenigstens nebenher zeichnen

Love this show so much! I was going to draw this picture of Daryl Dixon (there surprisingly aren't very many good ones) but I went with Rick instead ... I'm glad I did, I would hate to compare my work to something as flawless as this!!!

I watched 3 seasons in 4 days and he must survive, for a long, long more time at least if not till the end. I was sort of familiar with many of characters before and had a feeling I'll like him even before watching. Amazing work, glad you included the crossbow too! Great choice of ref, crop, pose. Now we patiently wait for s4.

I still find it hard to believe he isn't even in the comics. But I'm sure as long as the fans love him as much as I do he'll survive

Related to the comics, in case you know, is the show more just inspired by it, very loosely follows the comics, with lots of changes etc. or is it strongly based on the source (- Daryl, obviously) and, in that case, is the comics still going (do we know what happens after s3?), is there much material left for X new seasons? (when comics stop, show stops too, or) Hahah I might have "slightly" exaggerated with questions.

I hope so! One of my top favs!

I haven't read the comics myself (maybe I will one day if Daryl is included ). But as far as I know the show is apart from characters and certain story details very different from the comics and with each season the difference is a bit bigger.
There are also plenty of comics left
