sketch from my holiday to the beach some weeks ago. having had burned my neck on the first day, i didn't actually swim in the surf again, and spent my time either at a cafe or under an umbrella doodling this.Media: Black ballpoint pen. rough pencil sketch only on the right side O_o
Time: roughly 3-5 hours over a number of days.

BTW, you're team Jacob are you not (if you had to choose)? Cause I was kinda trying to draw Axle for you as a present, but it... kinda turned into a long-haired Jacob instead. How that happened I have no idea. The orignal kinda died because I spilt soda all over it, but luckily I scan all my drawings into my comp when they're done. You want it? Or should I throw it in the computer bin as quickly as possible?

she's the "blue" colour, so a sort of greyish blue.

Soda? Soda! I was sitting at my desk having just scanned the drawing in and was sipping my can of coke. Then a swishing arm movement toppled said can ALL OVER MY DESK, taking several drawings and notes with it in the process. I was quite devastated as you might imagine. So unless I wanted to keep a bunch of runny (and coke stained) drawings, I had to throw them out.
Then again, it doesn't have to be Jacob (it's a cartoony drawing, not realistic), he was just the first thing that came to my mind when I looked at the final result.

oh man, i know how that feels D8 i did it with a cup full of dirty paint water, and it went all over my floor too, which is bad since my floor isn't waterproof.

I used to be, but I learned my lesson after accidentally throwing out all my drawings from I was a kid to about two years ago. Litterally hundreds of drawings that I thought were scrap.
Hahahahahaha, oh god that brings back memories. I've done that and so much worse, like drawing on the back side with a permanent marker, only to turn it over to realise what I'd done, spilt over them, scrunch them up because I thought it was blank or just scribbled on, put the drawing on the floor cause it was in the way, only to turn around and step on it... it goes on.

I HAAAAAATE SCETCHBOOKS, THEY'RE TOO... CONFINED! And I hate drawing on elevated surfaces, the actual paper has to be on a flat surface with NO papers underneath it. I'm just as picky about drawing as I am about food, can you tell?

okay, well when you get on the 280 bus, you go up through alambie etc, and they're the first set of big shops you see. the bus stop is right outside the carpark, which is a large and ugly 2 story structure.
