What kind of a price tag is that? If you have a "literally infinite source" of these people, then shouldn't they be asking for an affordable price?
Otherwise you're going to end up with a warehouse of hypnotized women nobody wants to buy because they can't.

*ahem*
When's the last time you captured and brainwashed an Amazonian champion, good sir?
Regardless of how many of them the Multiverse might provide for us, obtaining them doesn't get any easier...the gadgets, the traps, the manpower to use them, the Multiverse Portal itself, none of those are cheap.
But we assure you, each and every Wonderdoll is more than worth the price we ask.

I'd rather have a woman who won't kick my ass the moment they snap out of their brainwashing. Just because it's a rare collectible doesn't mean I want it- especially since I'm more into blondes.

It takes precedence to my sense of self-preservation whenever there's a good chance a really pissed-off Amazonian will kick my unmentionables into orbit.

Ooh, some nice ones. The pink-purple on the right is cool, and I know not everyone likes the second one but I quite like it as an alternative she could easily switch into from normal, inconspicuous clothes.

Agreed. The same kinda thing happened with Batman; more recently, his suit has become a sorta halfway point between leather and Kevlar, whereas it always used to just be (I would assume) very fine, ultra-comfy but not especially protective material that any idiot with a knife or a gun could cut to pieces. Now, at least, it can deflect glancing blows from knives and gunfire, and it's mostly black so a lot more practical for clinging to the shadows and concealing yourself in the darkness...
Captain America has done really well out of the movies! The original one was something they could believably make with the sort of materials available to soldiers in the 40's, and the modern leather one was just awesome. The sorta scale-chainmail texture from the comics...I can kinda see it working on the big screen, but not quite as well. That kind of look works well for Hemsworth's Thor, but as it is, all the main Avengers have a pretty distinct style, which I'd like to see maintained.
That's exactly what this Wondie was meant to be; Jim Lee was tasked with modernising her look, and that's what he came up with. I really, really liked the results.

It's not cause of Wonder Woman. This version is actually cool. I'm just reminded of the horribly crappy way the Star Sapphire character has been portrayed recently.

Haven't really explored much of the Lanterny end of the N52 (and haven't even started Rebirth yet!)
She's appeared briefly in Green Lantern (literally one panel of powered-up Carol Ferris, when Sinestro blasted open their apartment and abducted Hal to go on an adventure with him)...I think she shows up a bit more in that thing focusing on Kyle, right? Along with Bleez, Arkillo, etc.

I recognize the Star Sapphire version on the right - nicely done! As for me, I'm a purist: give me the lady in the middle, channeling 1970s Diana Prince as portrayed by Lynda Carter! Booyah!

I know my Lynda!
Leather jacket look almost made it to the Fox television near-reboot (a failed project, helmed by ALLY McBEAL's creator, David Kelley).
I am looking forward to the new film.

You would've thought after five years of Arrow doing VERY well, and three successful spinoffs, they would've tried again with Wondie.
The trailers for her new movie actually look AWESOME, though! 2017 is gonna be a good year for us nerds! ^.^

I was thinking more specific examples that have definitely happened. Was Brother Eye the Future's End one? Please don't.

Trigon definitely happened. She fought a Lois Lane controlled by Brainiac, so that was a distinct possibility. Brother Eye was indeedy the Future's End one...just trying to think of visually distinctive ones here.
