The huge, blubbery predator subsists on an all-feline diet, up to and including LIONS! Also known as a "canal Kraken", this ugly example has come to Earth in search of kitty snacks. Emitting a catnip odor to attract its victims to within striking range, the unsuspecting felines are sucked into the maw of the beast by a powerful intake of air.Ugh!

Interesting concept, can't say I understand the all feline diet but I guess I don't have to.

The thing probably has a taste for hair balls. It's a sort of take-off on the Martian Man Hunter name. Plus this nightmare of a horrible, blubbery monster that inhales its food. Yuck. The real nightmare was of a gigantic slug-like creature that stripped planets of all organic material, traveling in a spiral path over the surface, like peeling an apple, so that nothing escaped ingestion. Then it would travel to the next planet.
Imagination can be scary sometimes.

The giant slug would just keep going around and around as what was once was buried was now the new surface. A truly terrifying monster worthy of Doctor Who.
