It's interesting to see her without her cape. Gives us an idea what she'd be like, should she ever decide to retire that piece of her costume. Reminds me (in a way) of "Mr. Incredible" from the Disney movie. He was immensely strong and didn't wear a cape, though that's where the similarity ends.

Apparrantly, DC insists on those characters with flight capability to wear capes as part of their costumes. The flowing of a cape helps establish movement. W.Woman dosn't always conform. But she didn't always fly. I guess she forgot where she parked her invisible airplane!

In the old Mad Magazine parody "Woman Wonder" a set-up line concerning the Invisible Airplane was that "you shouldn't slam the door!" Well the door did get slammed and the plane shattered. Made of glass, apparently.
