Sonic is nervous. Its sad considering all he was doing was practicing the parts. It was easy. He had made a fool proof plan, practiced his plan. A lot. To himself. And to Tails. And about all of his other friends. Including Shadow who couldn't care less but did enjoy some fun once in a while. He was running short of time. Valentines Day was coming up soon and he needed to be ready. But he couldn't pull himself together. It was pathetic.

Tails had told Sonic to consult his Ex, Sally Acorn. She already had moved on and was in a relationship. Of course it had been a year and a half. And in that past year, he had been planning to ask out Amy Rose. The love of his life.

So, the next morning, he had made plans to meet up with Sally, hoping that she could help him. She was his last resort.

Sonic walks into The Star Café, Vanilla The Rabbit's business, which was where he was to meet up with Sally.

Sonic spots her in a booth next to a window. And walks over

Sally: Hey Blue Boy, still can't arrive in time...as usual.

Sonic: yeah yeah I know. Good to see you too Sal.

Sally: Well considering you're taking Amy on a data-

Sonic: -Hopefully

Sally: -you might just want to consider arriving on - no - ahead of schedule.

Sally smirked at Sonic as he sheepishly sat down. And opened up the menu.

Sonic: So I'm hoping Tails told you all the details because I don't know if I'll be able to think strait in order to tell you.

Sally: Wow, you really do need help.

Sonic: Thanks. It really means a lot.

Sally: Anytime! And yes, Tails did in fact tell me everything, including your plan, which might I add, is quite a good plan.

Sonic: Thanks. I try my best.

Sally: So what are you so afraid of?

Sonic: W-well i-i don't know really. I just, get really nervous around her, which is mainly why I can't stay around her for too long. And well....

Sally: And...?

Sonic: Well, she-her-i-and-ugh.... Its like her presents is over powering.

Sally: Hey, you could ask out me, you could ask out Amy! *Sally smiles at Sonic*

Sonic: Well yes but its different-

Sally: -Different how?

Sonic: Its just, its hard to explain.

Sally: Sonic, I can tell you for a fact, that Amy still likes you. Why else would she break up with Shadow? I mean, they were both happy together, so it should've lasted. But I think she didn't feel the same around Shadow when she is around you. Go for it. Everything will be fine.

Sonic:.......

Sally: Sonic?

Sonic:.......

Sally: Yo. Earth to Blue Boy?

Sonic: S-sorry. I-I think your right. I'll ask her out. Hopefully.

Sally: you'll figure it out. *laughs*

Sonic: Thanks Sal, it means a lot.

Sally: Anytime Sonic.

Sonic: See ya around, Acorn.

Sally: See ya around, Hedgehog.

So there it is, how Sonic is almost ready to ask out Amy.

I like to think that Sonic and Sally used to date, but later realized, that they didn't have what they thought they did and later broke off the 2 year relationship.

As for Amy and Shadow, they used to date as well, when Amy found out about Sonic in a relationship with Sally, she wasn't surprised, but was still heart broken. So she started dating Shadow. But they later, after a year or so, broke up due to unclear reasons.

BUT YEAH. That's it. Its been a loooooooong time since I've posted anything, my bad, but I have exams coming up and had a few ISUs and other projects due over the past while its crazy! But after all the exams I should be able to get some more work out to y'all.
