well, basically, Rikichi [top] has to make sure the Hell butterflies don't run off in separate directions, and Hanatarou [bottom] is in 4th company [the general slaves of the Soul Society] he usually just has to heal the wounded and clean different areas, but if some one gives him an order, there is really nothing he can do about it...
