I met this girl at a convention last year, she commissioned me and we kept in touch. She is a few years younger then me but I have always held her in high respect. Sweet, smart, clever and talented. She draws better then I did at her age. But yesterday her best friend died, he drowned. And she said something that struck a cord. "The worst day of mine. And yesterday was the last one of his." Losing someone is always hard and to be so young and to lose someone so close.... I wanted to give her something. So I drew this and wrote a short poem, I didn't have to think very hard to decide what I wanted to say to her. "May we always remember those Lost and fallen angels we held so dear and May we find strength in their Memory . . . For they may be fallen but not forgotten."tria and prisma color markers.

oh dear.... that's such a sad story.....i'm sorry to hear about your friends passing....it always hurts when somebody dies...even though we may not know the person directly...it always strikes a cord in all of how precious life is and how easily it can be extinguished....

This is such a sad yet beautiful picture and the tale behind it makes my eyes water. I know how it feels to lose someone. Tell your friend I'll be prayer for her and God bless. I'd say something more but have now words coming to mind that can express what I fel for this lost soul. *bows reverently* All I can say is God bless you with His peace-of-mind. Amen...
