We had to read a poem in lit bout a moth. How it wanted to be part of something beautiful so bad that it died trying to be part of a flame.
This reminds me of that. Quite Beautiful. Gives the poem more meaning.

this has a great, ethereal quality in its stillness. there's something so cool about the light at the top and how it focuses on the moths as they lie there on that dark surface that dominates the lower portion of the photo. i love the textures and how you did the focus. very, very beautiful.

Amazing shot.... The b/w gives the whole pic a tragic mood... poor moths.... my second nickname is "Motte" and it's german and means "Moth".... well... beautygful shot anyway...

I can read a story into these two: the left is mourning the loss of the one on the right. Excellent use of black and white; there's nothing left now.

hehe, i dunno what this says about me, but i find this hauntingly beautiful. i love the blurs & the very tight focus on the wing. the scarred floor adds to the raw feel of the image. great work as always.
