details- well, it's been a while, hasn't it? 5 months off and this is all i can come up with? i know, i suck. haha, it's so monochromatic and not too terribly pleasing to the eye, but fuck, i like it and that's all that matters, right? lolz. um, this is the first time i've been inclined to get in touch with my artistic side (it was truly over due). bet you guys were expecting a dying horse? HAH. tricked you. tricked you good. i was going to add a jar of hearts in there, but i cannot draw jars....or anatomically correct hearts, so let's pretend there's a little splash of color in there, ok? the idea came to me when i was listening to the above song, it's truly a beautiful song, i love it. go listen to and love it.

I actually find the monochromatic atmosphere of the image quite appealing, I mean it's not something that stands out much, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
I like how the horse's colors match the background and how you made the transparency just perfect, it's not too much or too little, so you can still see the background through the horse while its details are still very visible. Beautiful work!

Thank you, your insight is intriguing. I was joking with my friend how this is one of my less 'emotionally' inclined images, but she said that she felt the monochromatic theme gave her a sense of loneliness, which I can see. Maybe I've unknowingly felt lonely lately.

And the horse was actually done on a different background with slightly different colors, when I decided I didn't like the mountains in the other background I made I changed my mind and hoped the colors matched xD I thought that the horse would be hard to do, but really it's kinda easy, lol.

Thanks for the comment and the favorite!

(I'm sorry for the really late reply, I haven't been around much)

Sometimes we pour emotions into our works that not even we know we're feeling, I've found out that happens a lot with my works. Every now and then, a work that I really don't feel any special connection with will turn out to be more emotional than I imagined it would be. It can be a nice surprise!

Well, the colors still match very nicely!

You're welcome!
