EDIT: Because she, in fact, IS a shipper, I have changed the caption to something more appropriate....SHAME ON ALL OF YOU. You know who you are.
Well, it didn't even take 24 hours for the fanart bug to consume me. 2:30 AM, and here I am uploading this quick piece of doodlage about an awesome character. I like the clever, sarcastic ones, I guess. Not that Jinora's that sarcastic...she's just the straight-faced one. And everyone loves her.
And she would also like to remind us that the shipwars cannot consume the fandom again. Too much.
Had to add the book, poorly-drawn as it is.
Some art issues, but this was a quickie. Took about an hour and a half, maybe less. The girl's adorable. And Korra's show is AWESOME.
Jinora belongs to Mike and Bryan and their show James Cameron Is a Licensing Jerk: The Legend of Korra.

I'd like to say that Jinora will keep herself free of the shipwars, especially in regards to herself, but she can make no such promises.

Irony that the first picture when searching "Jinora" is basically her shipping makorra....
But yes, ship wars are stupid and meaningless. Even though they can be fun to watch or see how much people like to predict a certain outcome, we should just just focus on the entire show instead of whos-with-who. And besides, Makorra already has the right away.....

Well, it's kind of hard not to pick up on Makorra because of how "obvious" it is as of now. If it wasn't for that (and her growing interest in boys), I'm sure Jinora wouldn't really give a darn.
Then again....."I will make no such promises".....

I think what I'll be doing is pulling away from ships; if a character needs fanart, they'll get fanart. Non-shippy fanart. Unless the situation really, really calls for it.

Ah, yes. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Jinora and her siblings. Love her dead-pan expression here.
I might have to draw Tenzin's children too: and I find myself growing fonder of Kataang, nowadays, because it means these snarky, hyperactive, and strangely endearing (in order of Jinora, Ikki and Meelo, respectively) characters and their father can exist.

Though since I know your love for Toph...I realized that Lin's surname is "Beifong." Does that mean that Toph had a kid without marrying? That surnames remain from the more powerful family? Or did Toph just say "Nope!" when it came to changing the name?
Or maybe there was no father. Maybe she had a kid with pure willpower. Or maybe Lin's adopted. Questions, questions...

P.S.: Is it just me, or does the one female White Lotus member who is watching Korra firebend look like she might be some sort of Sukkaspawn? Brown hair, darker skin...maybe not the right face...but her appearance looks very Kyoshi-ish.

I loved when she asked Katara about Zuko's mom and then the story got interrupted! It made me laugh and get angry all at the same time. That's the Avatar write we all know and love. ^_^

I follow a blog on tumblr that points out parallels/similarities between ATLA and ALOK and one entry was about how Jinora and Ikki are sort of the new Mai and Ty Lee. maybe the air girls are reincarnations of the fire girls.
