It reminds me of a project a friend of mine and I did. He had a 73 Datsun 240 Z and we stuffed a Chrysler 318. He had done ALL the tricks to get as much power as he could. We had built in side pipes (Literally turned the rocker panels inside out to give a nice cavity for the side pipes. We even purpose built mufflers!) He only did a 14.3 quarter mile, but that's only because he couldn't grab traction. Literally breaking into a spin every time he shifted.
