Well actually, I don't like America as uke ^_^;;; I just like things to switch around every now and then in USxUK. This picture was a one-time kinda thing. It annoys me when people make America really uke or uke to alot of characters, because I don't see him as someone who's very submissive ( I mean, having a hero complex doesn't fit the role of 'uke' very much to me =3= )

well what i meant was i like seeing him kinda on an equal level in my OTPs like i like him with russia and UK but he always seems to be uke to russia but UK is always Uke? makes no sense DX
sorta like another fandom of mine called spiritshipping from yugioh gx Judai is like Alfred who doesn't seem submissive but neither does Johan who fans usually put as the seme i like to think of them on an equal basis even switching thats fine but having England and Judai as UKE all the time just annoys me DX especailly since Judai saved Johan in canon and later Johan returns the favor so they should be at equal XD

I have to agree a little with the whole uke England thing; he doesn't really have the personality of someone submissive either, but I guess the fandom is to blame for his title as uke (most likely because of his other 'fanservice' forms, such as sexy waiter or britannia angel).
And as much as I hate to admit it, I think he's uke to America because 1. Alfred's has muuuch more physical strength and 2. Height always seems to be a factor in who's on top. Seme tends to be taller most of the time :/

While he does tend to be Uke with America or France, he's also seme with China, Japan and Spain. So he's both, if you think about it =w=; definitely not a super uke though >> There will be more seme!UK from me soon enough~

Oh no, NOT super Uke at ALL. It annoys the CRAP out of me when fanfiction/doujin/etc. make him so uke. Because that's not him at all. As an England cosplayer, I certainly have the liberty to say he knows how to take it up the ass. (Also, Spain has some times where he can be seme too which there is also not enough of...!). Some of my favorite doujin are where England is seme. Because he so. can. And there needs more of this. TBH, seme!England has grown on me a lot. I used to think of it more along the lines of it being 25/75 in favor of Uke. Now I give him at least 40/60, maybe more. Of course, America gets him so flustered, I still think he'd end up topping most of the time, but England seems to me like the kind of guy if he gets into a situation where he knows what he wants, he'll go for it. And he has a lot of pride. He's not going to let himself be topped all the time. No way in hell.
