Description
It had been more than three years since Loy lost his father, Frank, to a car accident and neither he nor his mother had fully moved on. Wanting to finally get some closure, the young man went to the local medium, Serena. Now Loy doubted that someone could commune with the dead but was so desperate that he was willing to give it a shot if it meant getting to talk with his father one last time. Serena quickly sat the both of them down at a table before proceeding to chant incantations. Whilst reciting the hex the medium’s vision started to get blurry, feeling lightheaded she was about to stop the session right there but it was simply too late, in a matter of seconds she had collapsed onto the table. Loy hurriedly ran to the woman’s aid but was surprised to find her already regaining consciousness. Serena, with a bewildered look on her face, began to examine her own hands. Leading her to slowly run them down her arms before making her way to her chest in utter mesmerization. Seeing the confusion on Serena, Loy formed a hunch and decided to confirm it by spouting out his father’s name. This caused Serena’s focus to shift to the young man before her, despite her eyes getting watery, it didn’t stop her from hugging Loy tightly.

Loy, freaked out by this, broke out of the hug and began to ask Serena about things only his father would know. Without missing a beat, Serena effortlessly gave all the right answers. Loy, now a believer, began to have a long heartfelt conversation with his father about how difficult it’s been for both mom and him since his passing, things just weren’t the same. The talk would diverge into reminiscing over their fondest memories from the cross-country road trip to their adoption of an adorable stray kitten. The father and son duo were enjoying their conversation so much they hadn’t even picked up on that; it's been hours since Frank took over Serena’s body. Once they did, the two started to freak out. The medium gave absolutely no instructions to Loy, so he was clueless on what to do. Without any options, both men decided to wait things out, but as more and more time passed they realized that something had gone horribly wrong.

This was exactly the case, Serena was still very much a novice medium and due to this had a limited tool kit. The only spell she had to contact the dead was one where she would use her body as a vessel that the spirit could use to talk through. Normally things would go off without a hitch but unfortunately for Serena, the spell had a one in million chance of sending her into the spirit world and leaving whoever she summoned in control of her lovely form. Something Frank was becoming pretty too as he slowly ran his hands down his new body, unable to hide the grin plastered on his face, all as his son continued to panic nearby.
