Jesse was sleeping peacefully when all of a sudden he felt a pair of lips press against his own, sending the former man into a state of shock as he awoke to find Bryan giving him a good morning kiss. The sense of surprise swiftly faded as he too joined in the intimate embrace, smooching back as his friend tightly gripped his bosom, causing Jesse to whimper. Once the two had their fun, his friend turned lover helped him get up, not wanting him to be late for work.

Arriving at the petit little library Sarah worked at, Jesse was greeted by an elderly woman, the caretaker of the place. She would give him the tasks of organizing the shelves and monitoring the front desk to take returns or answer any queries. Initially this all looked pretty daunting but with the passing of a couple hours only a handful of people have walked in, all with pretty simple issues that didn’t take more than a couple minutes to solve. Hell, even reading a book to dozens of children was more entertaining and relaxing than dealing with loads of tech illiterate angry mothers back at his old job. With his day continuing to go just as slow, Jesse was on the verge of dozing off when a commotion grabbed his attention. A group of boys were bullying a little girl causing the man turned woman to leap into action, reprimanding the children for their actions before attending to the little girl. Seeing the lass crying her eyes out seemingly sparked something within Jesse, he would do all he could to make the girl happy from comforting her, to even giving her a lollipop. Even after she stopped crying, Jesse wouldn’t leave her side, deciding to stay with the lass until she was picked up by her parents. When it was finally time to leave, the girl sweetly waved goodbye, filling Jesse with so much joy that as he waved back his face glowed with a tender smile. As Jesse watched the little girl slowly walk away from his view, he couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to be a parent.
