Species Name|| Livid Hound

Source Of Name|| The discolored blood that runs through their veins, rannging from all colors excluding red.

Breed Traits||
-Slender lithe frame
-A tail that grows as they do, reaching 6ft' maximum length, though the fur along its end grows with age.
-They cannot breathe fire, their intestines and insides glow with the color of their blood and shine out when their mouth is opened like colorful rays of light.
-They are large reaching 8ft' at the shoulder.

Courting Display|| From April 2-18 is their main breeding season.
-The males will ruffle the scales upon their head into a pricked upward stance.
-Both male, and ready to breed females will keep their tail in a constant state of motion throughout the breeding season.
-The males will open and close their mouths creating a lightshow for the females.
-The female will either accept the light-show and mate or quickly chase off the male and wait for another one.
-Durring this time neither male nor female will eat until they make 'The First Hunt' a ceremony in which the two new mates will hunt their next meal together.
