Description story: Planet wav means 'water as vapor', as in that planet, most of water is present as vapour. The planet is not inhabitable however because of too high concentration of oxygen. The highly corroded landscape is a testimonial for that. However, since this planet is very stable seismically, it is used for storing important and unimportant data ranging from criminal records to sports statistics.

Made with terragen, PS 7 for painting

This plaet wait a minute I am feeling slurry, I have been up all night (since mid afternoon) and have not been able to make one good work, all get aborted in midway... so many mosquitoes have bitten me... and so much, they have become fat and wont bite anymore... Damn cool image. Very good light behaviour. Also the storage idea seems neat.
The moon might look slighly to large. (or otherwise if it's some sort of a larger planet). It would roatte rather rapidly around this planet. Still very cool.

Very dreamy quality to it. From the description, it looks like a great place to set up a liquid O2 plant.

Dude, I take a severe jealousy towards your awesomeness. I often say, as I see that you post something new, "Goddamnit, Swaroop, stop being so cool!"

Excellent deviation, man. ^_^

The building certainly looks out of place, but I guess that was your intention. Interesting.

you have one whacked but interesting imagination...i like this "planetWAV data storage facility" place thingy... the building is cool..but giving me an uneasy feeling of vertigo... looks like a scene from an Asimov book... nice
also ever heard of a thing called "odomos"?

I've always loved your art, and this is no exception.
However, i find that without reading the description, the piece wont be appreciated cuz it seems like its kinda washed out, i know this is cuz of the vapour but, u know, anyway to make the piece just a little more dynamic?
Haha, hope u dont mind, im in a weird mood...

thans so much !
Yes I accept it looks a bit washed out, a bit because of vapour... increased saturation didnt look well either!

That's so pretty! I thought it was actually submerged a at first, but now that I look at it right I can tell it's vapour. *is stupid* But it's very beautiful, and like all your pics, I want to live there!

THe planet could use some work and the building seems out of proportion with the cliff but overall it has a nice sense of atmosphere.

Swaroop In reply to zebravissimo [2006-04-21 23:25:55 +0000 UTC]

low gravity means u can build massive structures on cliffs
another explaination is that drunked engineers conceptualised and designed the building
best explaination is that a stuporous artist made this work
