I am a silversmith and I had a customer come to me requesting that this design be placed onto a ring. I am working with her now to create the design. Before going any further I wanted to contact you to get permission to use the line art from your design.
If you like I can show you a final version of the ring design when it is ready, and also offer you full rights to the design of the ring if you ever wanted to order one for yourself or fans.
Obviously I'll be making money off this transaction with my customer, so I felt that that was all the more reason t contact you to ask for your permission.
Naturally, as an artist myself I respect your work, and I would understand if you did not want the line art used elsewhere.
