So here's something different. I really like Watership Down. It's one of my favorite books. I was rereading it about a month ago when I decided to draw sets of the major-ish characters. When I sat down to plan it all out I realized that that's...kind of a lot of characters actually. The book starts off with eleven and then only gets bigger. At least this is the biggest set. That's a relief.

I kind of embellished their colours a bit. I imagine they'd mostly all be a similar brown shade, but that isn't nearly as interesting to look at imo.
Also I wanted to draw a background to go with this but I couldn't make it look right, so into the empty void it is, again.
