Sorry bout that but life gets busy.
Any way this is my favorite of the next six.
If only Beckett knew all he needed was Jones' hat he could have saved himself a lot of trouble.

the first time Blackbeard died, it was off the coast of North Carolina in the year 1718 and Blackbeard's head was cut off, sometime later Calypso restored Blackbeard's corpse and brought him back to life.

He faked his own death and went into hiding. The only reason he came out of hiding was because there was a prophecy that a man with one leg would kill him. He decided that after he found the Fountain of Youth he could come out of hiding.

To be honest,I don't think Blackbeard faked his death, He could not have lived through a decapitation.

I don't think it was him who got decapitated. I think at the last moment, somehow, he switched places with another crew-member at the last minute and they got the blow instead.
Either that or it was a total myth and that battle "where he was killed" never happened

I know a guy who makes and sells the Davy Jones hat, (barnacle encrustations included) I brought up this comic to my sister on a car ride home recently, and our conversation went from my sister being a lobster on Davy's crew who uses her claws as castanets, to a debate about wether or not lobsters have hair, and ending with a comment by me about them shaving. it's scary when we're actually getting along
