Yes ! Β The Detective was from around the same time I think.

And they were both great movies.Although The Detective was a bit contaversial for it's time due to the subject matter.take and remember,that homosexuality was still considered a crime in most juristicions at the time,but if I remember right it won critical acclaim and it had a great cast.

I will have to get round to watching them again soon. Tony Rome is available as a box set so I may have to order that
