This is really pretty! My favorite thing about it is probably her face and the expression- it's just so nicely done. With the wide highlight-ey eyes and the slightly-ajar lips (I also think it's interesting how you shaded the lips, how it's lighter than her actual skin almost. So shiny c: ). Also her nose. I love noses. That is one awesome nose rite thur. And I know I sort of already mentioned this, but the eyes are really really nicely done. Her irises are so alive and healthy-looking and bright, and the lashes are just awesome. I love the lids, too. They look so realistic! She shape of her face is great, as is the neck and shoulders (but the neck seems to be a tiny bit too far to the left. Or am I just retarded?)
The hair is nice, the way you shaded it at the top makes it look very 3D-ish. Just one thing- the way it frames the face. It looks fine at first glance, but on the left, there's a longer piece that sort of doesn't seem to flow right... It like comes down from the back of her head, and becomes part of the bangs. But it's not a big issue (:

A few other things;

*Just a little bit heavier shading on the skin and such (Just darker, more punchy/contrasty. Unless you were going for a subtle, easy-to-look-at style. In which case that's cool ; u ; )

*Some darker shadows on the lengths of her hair

*A bit more contrasty (But I'm loving the grey-purple colour scheme)

*Aaaaand if the shadows on her skin were just a bit more blended then the world would be perfect e.deviantart.net/emoticons/d/d… " width="21" height="15" alt="" title="I am a dummy!"/>

So yeah, that's just my attempt to give a useful critique. Overall it's a really pretty portrait! (:
