Hooray for Chris Meyers!

I feel so bad that I've only drawn him NOW! DX Bad creator...anyway!

He's the bassist in Ashton's band, his closest friend/later boyfriend.

I wanted to give one of my male characters long hair...so I gave Chris long hair, my sister says he looks like Toki from Metalocalypse I assure you that was by accident! D8

He was born in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico to Craig and Juanita Meyers. They only lived there for about ten years before the moved to Phoenix, Arizona.

His mother was maid who cleaned for a hotel and his father construction worker. They had to leave Truth or consequence because they just weren't paying enough and saw no life for their son.

He is really close to his family, really family oriented and has a close relationship with his grandmother on his mothers side. When she passed he was devastated, but set out to full fill a promise he'd made to her, to live life with now regrets like she had.

He got a job at a mechanic shop where he learned to work and fix up cars, he became so knowledgeable about cars that he could almost tell what was wrong by just listening to it. Saving up, what he could he bid his parents good by at the age 20 and moved to San Francisco, CA.

Only being able to afford a small apartment, he was barely getting by with the money he had. Desperately needing more money a couple of friends told him how they could make easy money, taking him down to an underground street racing competition.

After a couple of losses, Chris decided to put his skills and knowledge of cars to good use, when no one was looking Chris would tweak something in the car that no one else would notice, but would help them lose the race.

When him and his friends started winning, the other teams got suspicious and one time had him followed, when they found out what he was doing, they chased him down ready to kill him for all the money he swindled from them, where he discovered his powers.

They caught him, and decided they were going to teach him a lesson about hustling they took him and were going to bury him alive. Fearing for his life he pleaded with them to spare him, he'd get the money back to them. His cries fell on deaf ears as the threw him in the hole.

Thinking it was going to be his last night of life he begged forgiveness from his grandmother, he'd broken his promise to her about no regrets. As the dirt fell on him, he suddenly had one more burst to fight to live and pushed his hands out in front of him pushing the dirt wall away from him, creating a tunnel.

Before he lost the ability to move from the weight of the dirt he crawled through the tunnel that seemingly continued every time he moved his hand forward. He pushed his hands up, bursting through the surface gulping in fresh air.

With this next chance he decided to really live out his grandmothers promise, and discretely moved to Los Angels. Taking his earnings he bought a nicer apartment, and took a job as a mechanic again. Not forgetting his miraculous escape in the Deseret he would keep practicing when no one was looking. Figuring out he can move more then just dust and sand, he could move dirt, rocks, anything of the Earth. When he was alone he'd practice every night.

One of his co-workers caught him, expecting the worst he tried to explain what was happening, to his surprise, his co-worker was in awe and thought of where they could use his talents.

Which is how he got swept up in underground racing again. He was vehemently against it at first, but they said he would be like a booby trap, no one would ever have to see him, and they would pay him half the winnings. Tired of having to scrap from money, he agreed.

Staying behind the lines and manipulated the Earth so it would prevent the other teams from winning. He earned the name Earth from his team. Finally getting more money then he could have ever dreamed of having, moving up to a better apartment, he needed something to pass the time so he decided to try his hand at the Bass Guitar.

Taking lessons in the day, and hustling at night he felt he had the life, until he ran into a boy outside a train station. He looked tired, and was always looking over his shoulder. To this day he never knew why he decided to help the young man, and unfortunately got him involved in the Underground Street Racing industry.

Finding out the kids name was Ashton Jackson, everyone else just called him Unknown, who was a runaway from home. Ashton's determination to be something better was inspiring and helped him get into bars and clubs so he could sing, getting attached to him.

The rest, I guess you could say...is history!

He is part Mexican, and he's my second homosexual character, but he's also a contradiction because he's religious as well.

He is about 5 years older the Ashton, making him 22 when Ashton is 17. They start their relationship when Asthon is 20 and he's 25. He wanted to wait until Ashton was older before starting anything with him.

Also he has the power and ability to move any kind of Earth. It's different then Avalanche's because he does more then just shake it, he can actually it and shove it at you, making it take the form of anything he can imagine, He can harden it and soften it when he wants, the more he hones his skills the tougher he gets.
