Yeah you're doing it right, but I figured out why it doesn't work...it's because you're not a premium member. Sorry I overlooked that in the first place, that was my mistake. XD So you can't use the stamps but you can use the plz accounts.

It does work, you're just not using the correct username. It's :iconrequestsask:, not :iconrequestsaskplz:. Even though they're called plz accounts, I didn't include the "plz" because the names of some of them would be too long.
