Hello, everyone. I just wanted to show you guys my new pet lionhead bunny. I got her three days before Christmas. Her name is Haru which means "spring" in Japanese. She's so cute and fluffy. After one of my other guinea pigs died, I got depressed and I had to get a pet that lives longer than a guinea pig and I was crazy enough to get a bunny. I hope you guys like her and I will post more pictures of her.Related content

It is actually better to comb than brush them, as that soft fur matts easily! A small plastic comb like for people usually works fine when they are so small!

You're welcome! At this age, try combing him a little bit every day, and make sure you pick him up and hold from a while every day, so he gets used to that being a safe and happy thing! He may not "need" much combing yet, but the point is to get him used to it now, while he's still young!

Those guys are cute too. ^^ Also, lionheads don't really grow very big. They mostly get fluffier and you have to always brush their fur.

I believe lionheads grow up to three pounds. They don't grow very big.

I don't see anything wrong with that. Without knowing it when I was sixteen I got a pet hamster that was little so I thought she was still just a baby, or a runt, it turned out she was the breed known as the world's smallest hamster.
And one of my family's cats is rather small. When we first took her in and took her to the vet, he said either she didn't grow properly because she didn't have enough nutrition to do so, or she was the runt of her litter. She was small and already had her adult teeth, so he estimated her age to be somewhere around nine months to twelve months. And she's barely grown at all since then, so we call her our forever kitten.
