Note: The techno trolls in my AU are merfolk because of their design and their tails are based on a double-tailed variant of fish like the betta fish or goldfish. The other merfolk have tails based on other kinds of fish, cetacean, and pinnipeds (if he or she is a selkie).

Anthony "Trollex" Suarez

-Latino (hails from Puerto Rico)

-Gay

-Second child among his twelve siblings.

-He moved from Lasiren to Castle City when he was a teenager as a foreign exchange student.

-Owns a nightclub called Techno Reef.

-Knew Tresillo as a child.

-He was bullied by the sirens out of jealousy so he prefers to become a DJ instead. He has to face his deepest fear though.

-Speaks fluent Spanish and English.

-Lives with a water pixie named Techno Beat Drop Button, who is his roommate.

-He goes around Castle City in a wheelchair like his people.

-His family is supportive and his brothers and sisters look up to him.

Layla "Bliss Marina" Gomez

-Afrolatina (Salvadorian)

-Lesbian

-Had six sisters.

-Her family moved from the Caribbean Sea to Castle City before she was born.

-Loves fashion and rave music.

-Fashion style is a mix of traditional and modern mermaid fashion.

-Her wheelchair has high tech and it is decorated with corals, pearls and shells. She did it herself.

-Loves seaweed pasta and seaberry pizza.

-Lives in one of the pools in Coral Reef Apartments

-Her love for dancing is from her aunt.

-Pansexual

-He's a water pixie but lives with Trollex as his roommate.

-Excitable and ecstatic about music, especially when it's techno or EDM that DJ Suki plays.

-Just assists Trollex when he djs in important events and pushes the beat drop button for him.

-Loves kelp linguini.

-Tends to collect seashells and uses them as decorations.

-Would act as a wingman for Trollex.
