Description asdfghjkl WHAT CATEGORY DOES THIS GO IN??
-.-

Anyway, this is Liofin and is a fake evolution of Qwilfish. Also going to be my entry for Spade's Pokemon Orphanage 's Design Your Own Pokemon Contest #2. If you haven't already been there, take a look and sign up, it's a great site. C:

Unnecessary pokedex information, yay!

LIOFIN
Liofin is a rare pokemon found mostly in the tropics, though a few have been found elsewhere. The spikes protruding out of its back, belly, and tail are coated with a strong poison to kill, or at least stun, its prey. The tips of its large fins are also covered with the poison, and some Liofin have shown the ability to spit poison. Liofin sneak up behind their prey, intimidate it with its large fins, then swallow the prey whole. The red stripes and spots on their body serve to warn predators and attract mates. Due to the aggressive nature of wild Liofin, it is recommended not to approach this pokemon unless experienced (or at least bringing along a few Antidotes)
Scientists have spotted a few oddly colored Liofin (coughshiniescough), with a purple body and belly, dark purple spines, and yellow stripes.

It also has a signature move, Toxic Sting. Liofish uses Toxic Sting by stinging the opponent with its spikes or fins. It does little damage but has a high chance of either badly poisoning or paralyzing the target. Toxic Sting is a poison type move, with good accuracy.

I like it. A lot of the evolutions begin at around 30, and with poison this could be an extremely effective status-effect dealer.

Thanks. Would be cool if this guy was real, but alas, he's not. I'm just a fan...

Hmm, well, I didn't want an evolution that was too fancy. :3
I'm not sure what level wild Qwilfish are found at, but it doesn't really matter as this would have to exist in a different game anyway, and they could just be found at lower levels.
