Description Lucy and her brother Romeo (owned by one of my mom's coworkers) had appointments at the groomers' today, then Romeo came back to our house to visit for a while. I grabbed the digicam and snapped off a few shots. I'd have liked to get a picture of them sitting posed together, but after endless hours on the table getting groomed, both of them were a bit wound up. I'm surprised that most of the pics came out pretty good... they were all OVER the place... bouncy bouncy bouncy! *hehehe* They didn't stay put for very long, except when I gave them the chewies (those flavored rawhead strips they're munching on in the pics).

Let's see... The middle pic is from when Romeo first got here... He's on the left, leaning on his Mommy's leg. Lucy's behind him on my mom... I think she's looking for treats, as that's the pocket Mum keeps them in for training purposes. Both of them got those cute lil scarves from the groomers'.

Top two pics are Romeo, eating his treat on the left and hopping up on his Mommy's lap on the right. Don't English cockers have such soulful eyes?

Bottom two pics are Lucy (you can tell the difference quite easily, despite their similarities... Romeo is bigger and has a heavier build. Lucy just LOOKS more feminine.). Left is treat time (even if you can't really see the treat!) and right is her crawling up on MY lap. Made it a bit difficult to get the pic, but she's so dang adorable, isn't she?

Awww I have a Cocker Spaniel too! She's not an English Cocker, but she has a more English build than most American Cockers (if I am making any sense...). She's eleven years old and her name is Evie. I don't have any pictures of her submitted right now or I'd link you.

Cockers are like velcro, they just cling to you, and once you have one you will always have one.

Bah... submit pics! *wants to see Evie*

Lucy seems to think she's attached by velcro to my mom... Definitely a one person dog. Poor thing wasn't raised properly (the breeder, due to numerous health issues, wasn't able to socialize the pups properly) and she's got a HUGE issue with abandonment. She sulks when my mom has to leave her and does this insanely energetic dance when she returns. It's hilarious.

She's our schitzo dog, but we love her.

Okay I submitted three: [link] [link] [link]

Evie has sort of attatched herself to me. I mean, she likes everyone, but she's decided she is my doggie. She doesn't like being left by herself either. She'lll howl sometimes, and we'll hear her in the driveway. She's gotten better as she's gotten older. She dances too, and jumps around a lot. You'd never know she was eleven xD

I think all cockers are a bit schitzo...

Too cute. We had a springer spaniel a long time ago that looked a lot like these two, only he was a bit reddish.
