In the realm...A war...was waged...

and only one shall be the last to fall!

And in the harrowing night
the heralds and bards watched the epic fight!
And they sang to the heavens
"NOW begins the con-sole WAR!"

At first there was one.
He ruled just and strong.
with no other rulers
he could do no wrong
but the land of bliss and peace would soon come
crashing to an end!

The NES was cast from his throne
by a successor set to carry the stone!
16-bit armies sprang to the battlefields!

(But loooooo!)
Nintendo was stricken down!
(Oh noooo!)
Nintendo's dead; Sony owns us now!

But there's no need to worry
developers hurry
to fight for the crown!!

*Double bass drum pounding*
Now the Sega barbarians are fighting with another kind
The Microsoft Xboxians will not take an ally!

The fight was one sided, Sony stood united!
and they cast Nintendo and the other barbarians DOWN!

And the PS2
ruler of me and you
laid its claim to
THE CROWN!!

An explosive blast-it happened so fast
an inferior army, with numbers to match
laid siege to the castle here for years!

Microsoft killed Sony!

But, Nintendo was the only
one who had the numbers to survive!!!

the armies are growing!

the siege engine's glowing!

the battle tanks are humming
the ammunition's pouring
and the consoles shall fight again!
