Story:

It was the first time for Mélisandre that she left her homecountry, and surely the first time she saw that much snow and the Northern lights. The mare seemed awestruck; Hannah would have expected her to be excited and hopping around a lot, but no – she just stood there and observed everything with her big blue eyes. Her body, however, was shaking.

“Seems it wasn´t a bad idea after all”, Hannah mused.
“What do you mean?”, Rebecca sked.
“The blanket. I mean, I was worried she´d be depressed because you can´t see the lead glass on her body…”
“I think it would have been far far worse if she was an Oriental Geisha”, the brown-haired woman replied. “I was more worried about her feeling far too cold. She is not used to such temperatures…but hey, doesn´t she look stunning?”
“Yeah”, Hannah giggled. “Like a Christmas gift.”
“You will be amazing tonight. I´m sure the aurora will be the perfect background for her and Chardonnay.”

And she was right. The colours danced over the sky and were reflected on the snow; it was magical.
