Description
Alsoine ran away from home and joined a travelling circus. She did acrobatic stunts,
tightrope walking and in the early days, she worked in a magicians act, as a woman
being sawn in half. This was before she moved overseas, when she was keeping her
split-mouth identity secret and it was easier to trick the audience. She would wear
hats and scarves covering her horns and outfits that covered her stomach mouth,
but still came apart when needed to. The magician shows were very successful,
because the box that closed over her was smaller and more close fitting than other
acts that often used two different contortionists.
