SPOILERS - How to Break a Dragon's heart
Minor spoilers, but spoilers anyway.
I absolutely love every prologue and epilogue of the books, they always inspire me, but I think this is the first time I actually drew something out of them.

But the boy on the dragon is disappearing into the clouds, fading into the airy glory of the next world, and there is absolutely nothing I can do to stop that from happening.
The boy turns his head.
I cannot see his face at this distance, but he is heartbreakingly young.
I hear his voice, very, very faintly.
"Dont worry!" he calls. "I will come back, I promise..."

Little Hiccup, tender Hiccup. I just love him so much. It started out as a sketch yesterday, but today in the morning I thought, "It looks quite good..." and I spent all day on this, yes, all morning coloring the black of the Windwalker haha (I don't even know why, I bought markers because it's easier to color with them and now look at me, coloring a whole page with mechanical pencil...)
