“As a result of an orbital low-frequency scanning of the planet’s surface in the area of Cape Euphoria, anomalies unusual for the surrounding topography were discovered. It was decided to expand the objectives of the mission, as a result of which the landing group discovered a place with the remains of architectural structures, as well as statues with distinct signs of humanoid creatures , at the first inspection, having a great resemblance to the human species.The available equipment could not give even an approximate dating of the construction of these structures, but according to preliminary data their age is estimated at ****** years.
With no more resources or time to continue the mission, the group abandoned the location.

Recommendations:
Assign top secret status to all materials related to the Athena mission

Carry out work to inform the public about the unsuccessful attempt to land on the surface of the planet, focusing on the technical problems of the equipment.

Conduct a detailed analysis of photo and video materials of the mission.

Prepare a plan for a new, secret mission to Mars, independent of NASA's planned missions.
