As far as I can judge, the picture overall is very attractive. The composition and framing are classical, very thoughtful and nice indeed. The whole mood of picture is also understandable and easy to get.
Nevertheless, I must confess the frame seems very "nervous" to me. A lot of contrast borders with different width, some outset effect - all this quite distracts the attention from the picture itself. This is, I suppose, inacceptible for screen graphics, though it can be very nice for printing the picture and hanging it up on the wall. But I reckon most people who want to have a print would prefer to choose the frame themselves, depending on their tastes. Some will maybe prefer passe-partouts, and some will not want to have a thick light border cause' this won't fit their walls. Think about it.
Also, I personally have a very great monitor and can assure you that the shadows are obviously overburned a little. It will be difficult to make a good print saving all the picture details, and most people will se very, very dark water on their screens indeed.
All-in-all, I would mark this work as undoubtedly worth attention and admiration, but I'd like to point that there is no need in such a heavy bordering.
