Description art trade with ~Jorjuh of her little fennec fox/flying fox hybrid character, Banana! such a fun character to draw and play around with.

I tried to do something different with the angles and such here, trying to make it a proper picture rather than just a character with some random lazy backdrop. I also played around with blurs, which I don't normally do. Hope you like, Georgia!

This is REALLY pretty! I like the colors you chose (for the background especially...blue and yellow go so well together!) and the mouth is just SO CUTE I LOVE IT!

Very cute Great expression
Reminds me very much of a book I had when I was very young. It was about a bat called Stellaluna. One of the illustrations were very similar to this , when she was learning how to fly.

I've read Stellaluna, lovely book! I also read two other books written and illustrated by the same author, Verdi and Trupp. Verdi was my favourite, still is, just because hardly anyone writes or draws snake stories. <3 Though Banana and Stellaluna are hardly alike I must say! xDDDD

[link] She wrote them AND illustrated them, and she writes a lot about animals that are not normally construed as cute or cuddly - bats and snakes and cockraoches, to name three! I really like that. I'll need to look for her other books, apparently she has more out now!

Ooh I like the orangey-brown a lot better actually, but then I do have a preference for oranges and yellows in general xD
