Description WHY DOES DA MAKE ME UPLOAD MY WONDERFUL SKETCHES THAT I LOVE SO MUCH INTO THE SCRAPS SECTION, WHICH ALONE SOUNDS SO DEGRADING, AND THEN PROCEED TO HIDE MY PRECIOUS DRAWINGS FROM ME. IT MAKES NO SENSE I SAY. -fume-

anyway. I hope there are people watching my Scraps, because I have an extremely tender spot for my sketches. They often have more character in them than the most technically brilliant piece on earth, and most times something is lost when a sketch is coloured. It's hard to say exactly what.. but yeah. ._.

I shall stop waxing poetic now. Here, more drawings of the Ouran dogs done while bored in school. (Looky, I did Haruhi when she was in high school, scruffy Haruhi and post-Host Club makeover Haruhi. yay.) And I actually do have plans for a coloured piece o.O;

Anyway, I love these! Every sketch shows such personality^^ xD's at the Tamaki one were he's sulking and the one where's he's glomping Haruhi :3 I love the Honey one in the bottom cornor, too.

Hee, yeah, it's annoying =_= It took me a while to figure that too - especially since I've been a part of dA since before the 'scraps' section. :[ Scraps should be featured as thumbnails on the main gallery page, in MY opinion

Your so right with the character thats found in a sketch, I was only saying the other day that its all too often when lines become refined and art is neatened up, the soul of it is lost somewhere along the way. But with your sketches, gawd, the expression and soul shines through!

Yes! Sketches! They so often have more life and movement than the finished drawings--maybe it's because the sponteneity of a sketch is lost when it's cleaned up and colored? Dunno. Anyway, these make me happy to look at--so much liveliness!

I loooove sketching precisely for that reason :3 I value spontaneity in my art which is probably why I hate spending too much time over-rendering a picture. It kills teh LIFE! or the illusion of such, as it were

And yeah, I'm usually indifferent to bishounen, but Tamaki is just... TOO PRECIOUS. :3 he's like a puppy.
-chuckles- yeah, the mangaka compared Hani/Honey-senpai to a Pom and Mori-senpai to a Sibe Husky in the first volume of the manga, so I just had to draw that and then I had to doggify the rest of them! haha.
