Tell me about it.  I've been trying to talk myself out of buying one all week since seeing this car.  It doesn't help that the perfect Supra is for sale right now...  1985, silver over blue two-tone, 20,000 original miles.  $10,000.  The stock automatic was swapped for a manual at 16,000 miles but I'm sure the auto can be put back in if I ask really nicely.  It's exactly what I'm looking for.  *Sigh*  It comes down to 'home renovations' or 'dream car' and thus far my brain is winning the battle but my heart is putting up quite a fight.

buy it!!! you'll BE BUYING HISTORY!! This is the car that Dean of "Jan & Dean" of the mid'60's designed for Toyota. Pasadena Design studio got the contract,,, &  Dean got the acquisition to design the unit.

You're not making this easier!   My first car was an '83.  Quite honestly the best car I've ever owned.  So I promise that my acquiring another isn't an 'if' but a 'when'.  Unfortunately I do have responsibilities (blah) and adding another car to my fleet right now just isn't allocating my resources in the best possible way.

I let passion get the better of me, and just bought a Suzuki Kizashi because I couldn't pass up the smoking hot deal (and I always liked them since they first came out)...even though that money would have been far better suited for house projects!  So, I feel your pain, but am likely to be a bad influence if you ask me for advice!
