As was the fate of many luxury cars during the Depression, this one served some time as a tow truck (for a Shell station in Michigan) before its restoration.1931 Buick 8-96C

We have a place nearby to Kalamazoo, Michigan
called HICKORY CORNERS ....
It used to have a yearly, summer OLD CAR SHOW of such vehicles
I and a friend attended ... It was owned primarily by JIM GILMORE
back then of GILMORE INDY RACING fame/cars .... A.J. FOYT drove
for him back then ....
