I'd rather do it myself, but I don't know much about the materials. What did you use to do the painting?

I just used normal acrylic craft paint. If your shoes aren't white, I would suggest painting them white or a light color so the other colors on top are brighter and stand out more. It's like giving yourself a clean canvas to work on. Then when you're done you should try to find an acrylic sealer to spray it with, so the paint doesn't come off or get wrecked with use by actually wearing them.

how funny that I see this now! The acting studio I am a part of just posted the cast list for our production of The Little Mermaid yesterday, and the first rehearsal is today! Cool shoes btw pretty much everyone at the studio would love to have those
