Description
Another quick A5 sketchbook pic. Done partly in lectures and partly while stuck on the bus in the traffic jam from hell. Markers & biro....Yes, Uhu. The glowy blue blob from Sonic & The Secret Rings. I thought it was rather sad that the poor little wind genie thingie had to appear as, well, a boring glowy blob, when almost everyone else got to be a Sonic character.
Of course there's only one character the little floating speed demon could be, right?

I've played a bit of Secret Rings since I first saw this drawing in 2013 and I have to reiterate that yes, Uhu being THIS drawing right here would have been the best thing ever. I think I might have died.

Oh my goodness this is AWESOME! I haven't played any of the Sonic games (I'm a fan through the archie comics), but I've looked up almost all of them on Youtube, including Secret Rings. This is such a cool idea! They totally should have done this. I love the costume design.

I have to say, that's a pretty cool design, although it looks more like Sonic being given power by Uhu. Try something that looks more, I don't know, like a genie!

nice, I like the fact that it bears a likeness to sonic, but still maintains it's own sort of character. ^^ I also like the colours, they're soft and very pastel.

Well, Uhu either looks like this, or it's the Arabian Nights' version of Shadow
Following the logic that Sonic and Shadow are the only hedgehogs able to run super speed, of course. Nice drawing either way

One word: AWESOME! Though, I personally agree with EvanStanley and think that Uhu was probably Shadow, since Sonic plays his role in the Storybook universes.

if it were shadow wouldn't it be a red or black orb? sonic is not from that world and zonic is also a example that there are more sonics in each universe.

You know, I was sort of following this same line of thinking. If Knuckles, Tails, and even Eggman had alternate-reality counterparts, was there an alternate Sonic?
Then it hit me while I was racing the little glowing blue "wind genie". Heheh, nice representation of and Arabian Nights-style Sonic! ^_^

Wow! I remember Uhu...at first when it told me to 'beat Uhu to the goal' and I landed in the arena, I thought to myself, "...Where's this Uhu?" and then halfway through the level I see this blue glowing thing chasing after me. Okay, maybe not halfway through, but I didn't see him at first.
Anyways. Fantastic job, I say. I love the oriental theme of him that fits into the whole Arabian Nights thing, and that includes the little swirls in his fur. The colours match his...blueness of being a little glowing ball, and I love that.
To think you designed a little blue glowing ball into an actual Sonic character. What creativity! This is wonderful. <3

That's really good! And also, I realized, Sonic's little "legend" name for people in the more recent games is the Blue Wind. Uhu happens to be blue, AND a wind genie. Coincidence? I think not.

Hmm...
The little blue lines were stuff was erased may to some make this picture unfinished.
I prefer to look at it as an awesome wind genie glow that makes the picture all the more badass.
