Description
Early June, 2007Vampire Hunter D copyright 1983 by author Hideyuki Kikuchi and illustrator Yoshitaka Amano.
I did this in my freshman year during the last days of school. I included the original picture that I copied D's profile from. (I kind of made up the hair as I went along, though. That was a pain...) No tracing involved.
I'm sorry it's so washed out in spots. I'll try to darken my artwork so the scanner doesn't leave out detail.

There are so many things that amaze me here!
the lighting on the hair, face and hat are remarkable better in Black and With Style. Most Impressive work. n_n
The teeth's looks badass, i like how yo drawn the flesh where the teeth's are stuck on.
After taking a good Look, i noticed that the thong that you draw is smaller then that of the picture.
drawing something different instead of copying is better, you added some of your own experience into your drawing. ^_-

I owe that skill to my mother. She used to be an art teacher. 
The overall picture is the size of the original, but the mouth on mine is too small/not wide enough and the eye is too big. That's what I get for messing with Yoshitaka Amano. XD

They almost look exactly alike and don't worry about the hair because it is done really well.

No, to :iconyuumeiplz: Her art "Selfish" was plagerised and re-named "Stolen Wing" (Ironic!) and Kasey Bowman was awarded gold medals from the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers, by their school, and several interviews by newspapers.
She can't contact Alliance for Young Artists and Writers because they haven't left a fax number (they won't accept emails).

So it does. What a coincidence! XD I've never owned pepper spray, but it's easier to explain to the police the would-be rapist is now blind as opposed to stabbed through the chest multiple times. I had to make sure he was dead, after all.

Yeah, but you can either say that it was in self-defense or because of PMS. I've heard that a couple of women got the charges dropped in the US because of that.
It made me lol hard that in the US you can own guns, knives and pepper sprays but you can get arrested if you write on a table in the classroom.
