Zoos are great, except sometimes they make me sad. Like the tiger there was being teased by some children. I was rather tempted to dump them in with it, as it looked rather hungry.

I was at the zoo today, and so many people were tapping on the glass - and not just children! some father was doing it to get the hyena to look up for a photo... SO ANNOYING that is one of my biggest zoo pet peeves - people who tap the glass... especially the ones who tap ON THE "DO NOT TAP GLASS" SIGN!

excellent idea. will look into it for next zoo visit.

(the cheetah keeper told us about stupid birds that land in the predator displays and get eaten by the cheetahs. the cheetahs have caught a canada goose. the lions win, they caught a deer the keepers couldn't get them to come into the "house" for days, because they had this huge carcass to feed on... so they couldn't even clean it up!)

well I boosted the saturation by about 10%, but mostly it's because the sun was setting directly behind me at that moment.
