Whatacreativetitle. >>;; And a lame one. -flails lolly stick aka fake light saber feebly-I'm sorry to everybody I've been owing art to. It's just that I don't feel like drawing much now... and I don't have anything that I've drawn to be happy about. And I keep on drifting from style to style, such that I cannot do what I used to do.. yah, which means I'm losing it.
Gahness. I've nothing much to say about this. I drew this a long long time ago, it's been biting the dust along with my other worthless lousy sketches. The original sketch looked 1000000x better, the colouring, shading, fur texturing, ... everything's sucky. So is the background, I feel so useless I just slap on brushes. >>; Brushes of such good quality they don't deserve to be on this picture.
Looks slightly better when you full-view.

Aww. It's scenes like this that just make me smile so much. I love the fur, it looks so soft and hugable and squee (you see, my vocabulary is much more limited than yours), and the brown dog's ears just tickle me with, for lack of a better word, aww-that's-just-too-cute-and-hugable-to-be-legal-ness. Now for the sad and small part: Critique. The paw that we can see the bottom of looks kind of flat. It might help to add some shadows and highlights to show depth (can paw pads be deep?), and puppy lips are always nice. But it's so hard to find something to critique in a picture that just makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. Keep up the awesome work!

Something my aunt taught me: If there's something you don't know how to draw/ you don't like the way it comes out when you draw it, put it in every single picture until you become happy with it and become more talented with it. And using reference photos/pictures never really hurt anyone, so long as you give credit. I would never have been able to draw my spiffy mouth (which is the only part of my Head Like A Hole picture I'm actually somewhat proud of) if it wasn't for using one of *huskie666 's pictures for reference.
And the paws are SO not yikels, the pads are just flat. And you might add some claws, 'cos claws are spiffy.
And you are SO not a lazyandsillynutter, because lazyandsillynutters are inanimate objects who wear suits and hats and pose for the outside of peanut butter jars. You are a niceandtalentedartist. And possibly a taco, but we won't know until we run chemical tests. Which leads me to my other point in this comment.. To check for any possible taco DNA, we are going to have to confiscate your retina. Hope you don't need it.

Eeep. Thank you, I learnt a lot from you today! Refs are good, but I'm always lazy (see, it contradicts your statement regarding me being a lazyandsillynutter!) to use them and usually, I doodle my drawings (such as this one), when I'm in school so I don't have access to refs. ^^
Nyaaa, I know claws are spiffeh, I used them before but they looked really horrible. o-o You should have seen my old reference sheet for Tales. I've looked at quite a few photos of how wolves/dogs place their claws, but somehow, I can't fit them on my wolves and dogs (because I'm a terrible artist, yesh yesh), and originally, in the sketch I had of this picture, I gave them claws but it just made the paws look worse, so yah, ><;; I abandonned them when I was doing the lineart.
Rflol, that was really funny. xDD I WANT TO BE A TACOO. >D It'll so add tacos to my list of nice nice nice food. -cackles and rubs paws evilly- I'm an official muffinater and I devour muffins for like, 24/7 365 days a year. In addition, there's icecream, cake, chocolate, and countless other nice stuff. I wouldn't mind adding tacos, because they're oh-so-nice-and-yummy.

I've taken to looking at master artists' work and writing down things in their art that I notice is different in mine, and applying those next time I draw things.
Such as how differen things line up, how the line from the nose continues up to the eyebrow (or would-be-eyebrow on animals, 'cept for Spirit, he has eyebrows), and how on dogs, the line from the muzzle continues up to the beginning of the eye. Or, on paws, how the claw just sticks out from the end of the toe, and doesn't go down like I always thought.

It's ~alice-illustrated but it currently has no icon and no art, as me and ~acylonstorm are doing it together, and I finished my three pictures, and I don't know how many she finished of hers, but she has to animate it and it becomes thigns of stuff, and no art because I haven't put anything on it, neither has Stiney, and nobody else knows about it but us, 'cept now for you and your groupies.

I can't draw humans for beans. But there's the Cheshire Cat (<3333333333333333333333333333333333333333 333333), The White Rabbit, the Stoned Caterpillar, the chess pieces, Dinah & her kittens, the Mouse and other creatures that fall into her pool of tears, etc.

Don't be so hard on yourself, this is really lovely!Esp. the fur, I love how you blend it, you have a really natural style for fur texturing.
For critique, maybe your fursona's back end its curved around very slightly too much, but this is being really particular and overall I like the poses and I know how difficult that one is.
Loving their expression, big doleful eyes!!and the colour scheme suits the bg which fits in very nicely.
