OHLORD. I just about died. >__________>;; I've stepped a scorpion before, not like him though. Ugh. We've got a tarantula living in our yard as well. Monsoon in Arizona, all the creepy crawlies are coming out, including toads.

Nice picture even though they freak me out.. XD

My roomates and I had one of these suckers in college: Shaka. He was awesome. AND, get this... he actually glowed bright yellow/green under a blacklight. Imagine our surprise after a urr... session.

If you've still got this guy, try him under a blacklight. See what happens.

well I dont think mine would work since it is under glass, dead and painted black. lol.. I could still try but again, this is for show. I sure wish I had a live one though that would rock so hardcore!!!

Rob-Cavanna In reply to Swordexpert-Stock [2007-11-13 14:57:53 +0000 UTC]

Dang. Black paint could definately kill that blacklight reactivity. Can't tell you how sweet it was to see something obsidian black shine so brightly under that freaky light. You could see all his details so clearly when he was luminous- count his eyes, etc...

Take a trip to an exotic pet store. You might find some more great subjects for stock!

Actually you have a GREAT idea! Thanks.. I never even thought about doing that. We have a couple in the area and they have some killer tarantulas, iguanas, snakes, scorpions and the like. I might just have to go and take my camera there and try and get some killer stock.

HAHA I doubt we have scorpions anywhere around where I live. haha.. naaa he was already dead. From someother country or something... not here in Canada I doubt. I bought both of them behind glass.. dead as a doorknob. I would NEVER have a live one. ewww.. and ouch if it ever stung or bit me. haha
